Photography brought me here, but connection made me stay.
When I first picked up a camera, I loved freezing moments in time. I photographed kids at a summer camp I helped run, and I couldn't get enough of capturing their personalities, their laughter, and all the little moments that happened in between. Seeing how much those images meant to their families lit something up in me. Years later, that's still my favorite part. Not the cameras. Not the gear. Not even the photos themselves (although, those are a HUGE bonus). The people. The conversations before a session. The nervous energy that melts away after a few minutes. The relationships that start with an inquiry and turn into years of documenting engagements, weddings, newborns, and growing families. Because at the end of the day, photography isn't really about standing in front of a camera. It's about the people standing beside you.
It's Never Really Been About the Photos
It's always been about the people in them.
I've always been drawn to connection. The kind you feel when people are fully themselves. The laughter between friends. The way your newborn settles into your arms. The glance your partner gives you when they think nobody is watching. Those moments may seem small, but they're often the ones we treasure most later. When I first picked up a camera, I thought I loved photography. And I do. But over the years, I've realized what I love most is what photography makes possible. It allows me to witness people fully being themselves. To celebrate milestones alongside them. To capture the relationships, emotions, and little in-between moments that make up a life. One minute you're planning a wedding, and the next you're chasing a toddler who somehow learned the word "no" overnight. The seasons change, children grow, and the moments that feel ordinary today become the memories we wish we could revisit tomorrow.
That's why I do what I do.
Not just to create beautiful photographs, but to help people hold onto the people, connections, and seasons of life that matter most. To create images that feel as meaningful years from now as they do today.

The best photographs aren't created when everything goes perfectly; they're created when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves. Whether it's a toddler having big feelings, wind that won't cooperate, or a groom who swears he's awkward in front of the camera, I believe genuine connection will always matter more than perfection. Those are often the moments that end up meaning the most.

My job is to help you slow down and be fully present while I document what's unfolding around you. HERE'S HOW IT ALL STARTED
Like a lot of people, I tried plenty of hobbies and creative projects over the years. Photography was the one that stuck. And I’m so glad it did. As life changed and new opportunities came along, I kept finding myself pulled back to it. Not because of the gear or the technology, but because of the people. Today, more than a decade later, I've photographed over 100 weddings and countless newborns and family sessions. I've celebrated engagements that became weddings, weddings that became newborn sessions, and newborns who somehow turned into big kids before I could blink. What started as a love for photography has become a passion for helping people remember how these seasons felt. My mission is simple: to create a space where you can relax, connect with the people you love, and walk away with images that feel both beautiful and genuinely true to your story. And if I can make you laugh, forget about the camera, and convince your partner that photos weren't actually that painful? That's a bonus.
